Been a year of blessings!

Well it's been a while and I thought I better play catch up on this fine FALL day. The boys are busy playing with miniature legos, making their own creations of cars, monster cars and flying cars. Christmas is just around the corner and we are beginning to plan all of the festivities. This past year has brought us many memories as a family. Jake and Megan were married last November and we all had the honor of being a part of their day! We took the boys after the holidays to Disney on Ice, as well as a family trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Cincinnati. We went to Memphis in May and North Carolina in August. Nolan had his tonsils out in June and did fantastic. We had a big change with the boys after our vacation in August they started at Noahs Ark Daycare. Nolan is in a Pre-K class where he has picked up more bad habits than anything. Evan recently moved to the 3 year old class even though he isn't three quite yet. Since I am working five days a week we are trying to treasure every moment together. Nolan played fall ball last month and Derrick was a coach. Nolan and his teammates were not really interested in playing but learned the basic concepts of the game. Evan was a great ball boy! The boys love scooby doo, sharks (which will be Nolans upcoming birthday theme), legos and puzzle. Evan keeps saying he wants to be a football player. Nolan wants to be a dentist. Evan is very picky about his clothes and what he wears (yes at age 2), he will wear anything Buckeye. Speaking of buckeyes, Derrick and I attended the first OSU game this season after my first tailgate with family. We then ventured down with the boys for another tailgate to visit with more family. Evans favorite color is RED, animal is panda or panda bears, and he likes to r

ead books. Nolan likes to color, and has become quite the artist. His favorite colors are blue and green and says his favorite animal is a giraffe. The boys are both in the church choir now and hopefully that will be our only Winter activity. I have been busy with trying to raise these two little rascals, being on the board of directors for the OSRT, ASRT CT delegate and all of my work related activities. I also enjoy volunteering for the church with faith mission and VBS. Derrick has been busy hunting every chance he gets and is still working an hour a way from home. Hoping we get to see our friends and family for the holidays and be reminded of the many blessings that we have.

Nolan first impression from the second level of Polaris was amazing. He was so suprised and he put his hand over his mouth. When we got down to Santa he was afraid until he was offered a sucker, then they were like best friends!
