Eleven Months Part 2

after looking back and noticing all of the excitment from last month, I thought I should write more. Nolan was walking on 11.12 all around the verizon store. He also now has two teeth on the bottom. He is eating and sleeping quite well. He made two visits to the zoo last month. Here are some of his encounters. Thanksgiving was wonderful... He started eating before everyone and didnt stop until everyone else was done. He tried everything that was made! He is such a good eater!

Eleven Months

A lot has happened in the past month! We dont have a computer so I am updating without photos from the palmer's(Dave, Gayle and Kenzie) Nolan weighs 21 lbs and has been sick this past week with a cold. He now has two bottom teeth and is walking a little more. He still prefers to crawl but will walk on demand without assistance. His favorite word and snack is cracker. He went to a wedding this past month in his first suit. As you saw he was a puppy for halloween, and we went trickortreating to a couple of houses. He had his first tractor ride and talks about it still. he loves to push whatever he can around the house, laundry basket, bar stool, pack n play... He has learned to gather his things and put them in whatever he is pushing. Except of course if he is in his pack n play then he throws everything outside of it. We are looking forward to getting ready for the holidays with our families! I really want a christmas tree, but who knows what he would do to it. I guess it will be ok as long as he doesnt get hurt:) Hope everyone is doing well. See you soon.

My first hair cut nine months

Given by dad

10 months

Well month nine was quite eventful for Nolan. We went to Rachel's wedding, Abby's birthday party, Michigan (annual fishing trip), and Fort Rapids water park for Corey's birthday. Nolan has had a couple of overnights without mom and dad also. He had his first hair cut(around his ears.) He is pretty much eating whatever will fit in his mouth. We have been giving him whatever we make for dinner, just cutting it up, because we still have no teeth :) He will be moving to size 4 diapers this week and is growing up to be a big boy. He loves to climb the stairs, yes all the way to the top. He is still learning how to come back down... He has officially taken his first couple of steps, but hasnt been walking around by any means. He no longer takes a bottle, yep we graduated from the nipple. I have not slowed down on the picture taking because there are too many cute moments. He is so happy and at a really fun age. He is saying many words and knows who mommy and daddy are. He also know how to shake his booty! It is amazing how smart babies really are. He knows what NO means, but doesnt tend to listen well. (just getting mommy and daddy prepped for the next 18 years) We are planning his first birthday party already. Hopefully we can go to the waterpark, he loved it there! Well this week is the big trick or treat and Nolan will be a puppy dog... He did get a new puppy at grandma and grandpa's but it pretty much attacks him and he doesnt like that just yet.

After three months of not visiting the Dr., Nolan made his way there today for his NINE month appointment. Pretty boring actually, no shots. I was excited however for his height and weight. 19 pounds 4 ounces and 29 inches long!!!!! This means he has technically outgrown his baby car seat. He is walking behind his truck or anything that he can push around the house. He still doesnt have any teeth but has taken on some real food and chewing with his gums. He is still in size three diapers. His attention span is short, and he doesnt like to be held. He tries to climb the stairs if Derrick and I dont get to him fast enough. He loves to get in his dad's DVDs and play with the TV remote. He is officially terrified of the sweeper. It doesnt even have to be on... just put out of sight. We are trying to decide what he should be for halloween. Or as Derrick says, what he should be for daddy's birthday. We are still trying the sippy cup. Molly has agreed to watch him on Wednesdays in addition to her one year old Lexie! They can play and she always seems to take them somewhere fun, like COSI or the Zoo. Edie has him every Thursday, busy bee as always, sometimes even after no rest...what a friend! Grandma Joni has him on Fridays. He actually had an overnight last friday while mom and dad went out for their anniversary:)I did go last week and look at three day cares for the winter. All of them are right here in Sunbury. We'll see about that later on. We are so lucky for family and friends who watch him now!

Eight Month Handsome Baby

Eight Months Today!

Already... Nolan is growing up to be a big boy! He has had so much excitment this past month. We spent the first week in August at the Beach. He loved it, but it really wore him out. Being in a different environment made it difficult for him to sleep, but he loved his daytime naps. The week we came home, we took him to the Hartford fair to enjoy the animals/people! Nolan has become quite the professional crawler and has learned to pull himself to standing. He wishes he could take off running. He thoroughly enjoys his tonka truck, along with his orange mini truck from the beach. He has been a very happy boy and has been on a pretty good schedule. He slept through the night last night. He has a few times, and normally now when he is up he can put himself back to sleep. He is eating stage three baby foods and has attempted the eat the finger puffs. He misses his mouth still, but gums them when he gets them in there since he still doesnt have any teeth. He has hit his head numerous times on many things, including last night when he tried to talk sideways pushing his tonka truck. (he has never done that before, but he make it far before falling over sideways and hitting his head) Since he is a professional at standing up in his crib he thinks when he goes in for a nap or bed that that is what he is suppose to do first. He is learning how to wave and give kisses. Nolan has new friend, Annie. Tim's girlfriends daughter. She is a year and a half old and Nolan and her get along very well. No official weight, but we go to the doctor next month for all that. He is getting bigger, as you can see from the pictures. We are so lucky and thankful for such a happy healthy baby. nolan has something to say m.m fffffffffffmjfvc thats all for now.

Seven Months

I can't believe how big he is getting! Everyone tells you how fast they grow, but my goodness... Well some exciting things are happening right now in Nolans adventurous life. He is learning to crawl now instead of just scooting backwards. He is eating "breakfast, lunch, and dinner" along with four bottles a day. He is trying to sleep through the night but normally wakes up at least twice. I like the new way of sleeping on his belly with his butt in the air. He is talking alot and gets excited for certain toys. Especially his first truck. He loves it! He is now in size three diapers and dirtying them a lot. This past month he has grown some blonde hair! As for Nolan's surroundings, he is going to have another cousin!! Darcy is due March 4th!! Nikki is leaving mom's work :( Uncle Jake is moving home!!!! :)Congrats to them on their new jobs! We go to the Beach next month, so we'll write more about that then!

Good Times!

Six Months and Counting

Happy Independence Day! The internet was down at the Palmer Household for the past couple of weeks, but we are back up and running. Nolan had his six month dr. appt on June 23rd. He weighed 15 lbs and 13 oz and was 27.25 inches long! He has gotten bigger since... He is sitting up on his own, rolling around, and scooting backward across the floor. He has been a very happy baby for the most part during the day. Sleeping from between 9-10pm until 6-7 am waking up only a couple of times. (if I am lucky) No teeth yet, but he sure slobbers and is gumming on anything. He is eating all kinds of fruits and vegetables, along with some occasional oatmeal or rice cereal. He also still eats about 6-6.5 oz of formula every 3-4 hours. He is almost completely transferred back to regular formula, and has done quite well. He did have some 5-6 month pictures taken, and even some with his cousin Aidan. He is just a little poser. We had our first airplane ride to New Mexico at the beginning of June. Nolan did very well. Hopefully it will be just as good next month when we fly to Myrtle Beach! We have been so busy since the last update, Aidans birthday trip to the zoo, Connie and Mike's Wedding, Kenzie's softball games, trip to NM, and the everyday rush, trying to savor every moment. Thanks to everyone for helping watch Nolan. Hope you are doing well!

5 Months

Since I am late in updating the blog, there are a lot of new things! I cant believe that Nolan is over 14 pounds, eating cereal once a day, and five oz of formula every three hours. We went to the Dr a couple weeks ago for his spitting up/voming spells, but they seem to be diminishing! They did an US of his abdomen that was normal. I bought some peas today to try soon, we'll see how that goes! He likes his cereal. He isnt really sleeping well, not sure if it is teeth or belly(or just baby Nolan). He is trying to get everything to his mouth and has been gumming the past few days on that bottom lip. He has discovered his toes in the past month and loves to play with them. This is one of my favorite things. He talks, giggles, and is finding out how loud he can really be. He is rolling up on his sides. (especially at night when he goes to sleep) He rolls from his belly to his back still, and will get up on all fours, but ends up taking a face first dive after he realizes he cant go anywhere yet. He LOVES to stand. He is almost able to sit without assistance. (that is until he takes a timber to the side) He is just one amazing little thing. He will hold his bottle completely by himself and still cries sometimes when it is all gone. He usually stops once he gets out a good burp. I have been giving him a little more formula since his spit up problem is getting better. He is still in size 2 diapers and is growing out of his six month clothes. We are so lucky to have such a healthy boy.
