After three months of not visiting the Dr., Nolan made his way there today for his NINE month appointment. Pretty boring actually, no shots. I was excited however for his height and weight. 19 pounds 4 ounces and 29 inches long!!!!! This means he has technically outgrown his baby car seat. He is walking behind his truck or anything that he can push around the house. He still doesnt have any teeth but has taken on some real food and chewing with his gums. He is still in size three diapers. His attention span is short, and he doesnt like to be held. He tries to climb the stairs if Derrick and I dont get to him fast enough. He loves to get in his dad's DVDs and play with the TV remote. He is officially terrified of the sweeper. It doesnt even have to be on... just put out of sight. We are trying to decide what he should be for halloween. Or as Derrick says, what he should be for daddy's birthday. We are still trying the sippy cup. Molly has agreed to watch him on Wednesdays in addition to her one year old Lexie! They can play and she always seems to take them somewhere fun, like COSI or the Zoo. Edie has him every Thursday, busy bee as always, sometimes even after no rest...what a friend! Grandma Joni has him on Fridays. He actually had an overnight last friday while mom and dad went out for their anniversary:)I did go last week and look at three day cares for the winter. All of them are right here in Sunbury. We'll see about that later on. We are so lucky for family and friends who watch him now!

My First Visit with Santa

Nolan first impression from the second level of Polaris was amazing. He was so suprised and he put his hand over his mouth. When we got down to Santa he was afraid until he was offered a sucker, then they were like best friends!
