13 months
Nolan is well on his way to milk, as the last bottle of formula was thrown away today! No problems there! He weighs almost 24 pounds and is talking up a storm. Just yesterday he started saying what different animals say(in his sounds of course, but they are all unique). He gave many of us a scare last week with a febrile seizure. Thank goodness all is well now. He is on antibiotics for ear infection, no other signs of infections and he is back to normal. He did fall two nights ago and hit his head on the table leaving a goose egg with a large bruise behind. He is consistently playing with all of his toys and loving his mommy and daddy! :) He also loves to dance, and to just about anything. Hope all is well with everyone. Thanks for all the love and support.

Almost thirteen months
We just completed our family christmas vacation to Mexico. Nolan was a very good traveler, despite what Jake may have to say about it. We couldnt swim because it was too cold, but we ate, ate, drank, and ate some more. He loved playing in the sand after getting used to it. He also found the dance class that Tim and Jamie were enjoying very entertaining himself. He loves to dance! He started his milk the day we returned home. We are still mixing half and half with milk and formula and havnt had any catastrophies yet. He is only taking about 7-8 oz twice a day, then water and juice between. I bet he gained a pound on vacation, the way he was eating. He is such a good eater. Tonight he had a ton of green beans, rice, chicken, and cranberry pineapple sauce. I gave him a cookie for dessert too:) He loves bananas! He fell asleep tonight without his binkie!!!! It cant be that easy, we'll see about tomorrow, or even tonight later on... I am ready to get back in the swing of things and help Jenna with her wedding, although she is pretty much ready. Derrick is working and trying to get in those last days of hunting. Nolan started his college fund tonight in his piggy bank by adding many many coins from various collections all over the house.

Happy New Year!
Well this past week has come and gone so fast. WEEK, I should have said YEAR! Thanks to everyone for all of Nolans wonderful birthday gifts and for the celebration! Thanks also for making it a great Christmas. It was so much fun to watch him. He has so many new toys and he plays with them all! I think he is working on tooth number 3, first up top. As you can see in the last picture he has begun sticking his tongue out when concentrating on things. He is eating like a grown boy, minus the vegetables, unless you put enough cheese or maple syrup on them. Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday! GO BUCKS!

Happy Birthday to Nolan!

We had Nolans party early this year with all the upcoming festivities! Thanks to everyone for their wonderful birthday wishes!
My First Visit with Santa

Nolan first impression from the second level of Polaris was amazing. He was so suprised and he put his hand over his mouth. When we got down to Santa he was afraid until he was offered a sucker, then they were like best friends!
