The past three weeks have never the less been eventful. The entire family has had one form of a cold or another! Evan decided he didnt want to sleep and hasnt done a three hour stretch in weeks. Needless to say mommy is very tired and back to work! Its truly amazing the strength I do have after almost twelve weeks of little to no sleep. God is hearing my prayers... Evan is still nursing and eating about four to five ounces every three hours. His belly aches seem to be few and far between, but really gassy at night still. He has his first cold this week and cant really breath well. Took both boys to the dr on monday and it is just a viral cold working its course. However, Evan does have what was a cut by his ear that turned into impedigo; an infection that has spread to cheek and chest and hopefully just looks worse than it really is. He is on antibiotics for ten days. (which was switched to a different antibiotic after no response to first and a culture test that came back normal!) He weighed 12 pounds six ounces at 11 weeks. We are finishing size one diapers and moving to twos! He is in 3-6 months clothes:) Nolan had another epidsode with spiking a high fever last weekend at grandma and grandpa's, after falling asleep on a golf cart ride... He has been fine since, thankfully! Last weekend Derrick was out of town and Uncle Jake stayed the night along with aunt kenzie and grandma joni! (Mom had to work Sunday) Since i have been back to work for three weeks, the boys are going to a new sitter, Sarah. She has a one and a four year old and also watches another one year old. Nolan seem to love it there, and I feel like she does a good job. He comes home with a craft everyday and even made a st. patricks day hat last thursday, and had a scavenger hunt for clovers. Last week when it was springlike we got to take a couple of long walks. Nolan still has a temper about him, but it seems to be getting better now that he is on a schedule for the most part. He still takes a long nap after lunch and we have been trying to do an earlier bed time. Nolan had his first swim lesson last Saturday which went good. Thank goodness for heated pools! He did run away from me in locker room and gave me a heart attack, and had everyone at the westerville community center searching for him. All and all we are blessed with a beautiful family. Derricks quote of the night last night "Isn't it amazing how much our life has changed since we have kids."

My First Visit with Santa

Nolan first impression from the second level of Polaris was amazing. He was so suprised and he put his hand over his mouth. When we got down to Santa he was afraid until he was offered a sucker, then they were like best friends!
